Decide On A Budget

In order to fully indulge in your engagement ring experience, decide on a budget FIRST! When you come to us with a budget that allows us to present you with all the different types of rings within your budget. This way we can break down center stone details and design elements. A budget helps us determine the 4 C's (Cut, Color, Clarity, Carat) of a stone. We try to encourage customers to stick within a budget that they feel comfortable in. There are financing options that also help customers meet their budget in a comfortable manner.

"But what are the 4 C's?!"

No're not alone!

According to GIA (Gemological Institute of America):

"In most diamonds, the term actually refers to the absence of color. The less color in the stone, the more desirable and valuable it is. Some of these differences are not visible to the naked eye, but directly impact the overall quality and price of the stone."

Cut: "A Diamonds Cut Unleashes It's Light" A.K.A SPARKLE!

"A diamond’s cut grade is really about how well a diamond’s facets interact with light. Precise artistry and workmanship are required to fashion a stone so its proportions, symmetry and polish deliver the magnificent return of light only possible in a diamond. A diamond’s cut is crucial to the stone’s final beauty and value. The cut grade is really about how well a diamond’s facets interact with light.

"Natural diamonds are the result of carbon exposed to tremendous heat and pressure deep in the earth. This process can result in a variety of internal characteristics called ‘inclusions’ and external characteristics called ‘blemishes.’

Grades run from ‘Flawless,’ with virtually no imperfections, to ‘Included,’ which contain a significant number of imperfections."

"Carat Weight refers to a diamond’s weight. Generally speaking, the higher the carat weight, the more expensive the stone. Two diamonds of equal carat weight, however, can have very different quality and price when the other three Cs are considered.

It’s important to remember that a diamond’s value is determined using all of the 4Cs, not just carat weight."
